Lego setup at Heritage Park Train Days: Calgary Tower

The Southern Alberta Lego Users Group (SALUG) setup another train display this year. This time at Heritage Park’s Train Days.

The Calgary Tower is by Chris, one of the newest SALUG members.

The Calgary Stampede likes a proposal by Alderman Ric McIver to extend the LRT’s free fare zone to the Stampede grounds.
Stampede spokesman Lyndsay Galloway says anything that makes it easier for people to get to the events on the grounds is good news.
As for using the Stampede grounds for commuter parking for people going downtown, Galloway cautions that the stampede only has 2,500 spaces – and hosts events 365 days a year – so it’s not the ultimate solution.
