Raptors finally out of Indianapolis
The Toronto Raptors finally escaped Indianapolis on Wednesday after being stuck there since Monday night because of the winter storm that has swept the nation. Team spokesman Jim LaBumbard says the team landed in Atlanta in time for Wednesday night’s game against the Hawks. The game was scheduled for 7 p.m.

Canadian businesses need to get used to the nation’s currency trading at parity with its U.S. counterpart, according to Edmund Clark, chief executive officer of Toronto-Dominion Bank, the nation’s second-largest lender.

N.L. Man Charged in Toronto Murder
A man originally from this province has been charged in connection with a murder in Toronto. The 38-year-old, who is from the Carbonear area, is charged with second degree in the death of a 60-year-old woman. Police say she was found in her apartment Sunday.
