Leaving Vancouver for Cortez Island tomorrow. I have never been there. So many people I respect speak highly of the Hollyhock Institute. We’ll see what it means for me. At the very least I should get some interesting photos of a gorgeous part of the world.

I’d check out McGill or Concordia. They are both in Montreal, QC, which is a primarily french speaking but the universities themselves are english speaking. You can get the best of both worlds here and embrace both english speaking and french canadian culture and language in the beautiful city of Montreal.

What do you think? Answer below!

Eating at Aqua Riva Restaurant with some friends for their Dine Out Vancouver 2009 menu, I specially requested a table by the window and got this spectacular view of Canada Place, a major Vancouver landmark. I took this picture at twilight which captures the essence of the superb structural design of this port. Canada Place is shaped like a ship with 5 sails and acts a a docking port for cruise liners. This is one of Vancouver’s most spectacular landmark gateways to the Pacific located downtown Vancouver.
