Question by crazytrainee1: How early should I arrive at the Vancouver International Airport before departure time?
How early should I arrive at the Vancouver International Airport before departure time? I’m just asking cause I’m flying from a small town in Washington state to Vancouver BC sometime next year and I’m really excited about going there, also how friendly are the airport security employees?

I would say possibly 2-2 and a half hours before the departure time.

Toronto Pearson is actually located in eastern Mississauga, on the site of the old village of Malton, about six or seven miles from here. We’re close to, but not under, the flight path, so we don’t get the ear-splitting noise that people a mile or so north of us do.

Wikipedia Article on KLM
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KLM
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (Dutch: Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij, literally Royal Aviation Company; usual English: Royal Dutch Airlines) is the national airline of the Netherlands and is part of Air France-KLM based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It operates domestic and worldwide scheduled passenger and cargo services to more than 90 destinations. Its main base is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.[1] KLM is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name. It has 30,118 employees (as of March 2007).[1]

The merging of KLM with Air France in May 2004 created Air France-KLM. Air France-KLM is incorporated under French law with headquarters at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport near Paris, France. Both Air France and KLM continue to fly under their distinct brand names.

Air France-KLM is part of the SkyTeam alliance with Delta Air Lines, Aeroméxico, Korean Air, Czech Airlines, Alitalia, Northwest Airlines, Aeroflot, China Southern Airlines and Continental Airlines.

PhotoShop Elements 5: sharpen, posterization, sandstone filter
The circle pattern was not planned. The posterization created it without prompting. It seems to have split what would have been a natural gradient. I liked it, so I left it. The sandstone filter created a strong concrete texture that I found rather appealing. I do like to post process as you know, but I usually don’t get this wild. The whole thing just seemed to work.

What transportation is available to get from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to downtown Montreal?

Thursday, December 30th, 2010 | Montreal with 2 Comments

Question by Ken: What transportation is available to get from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to downtown Montreal?
I need some advice from any Montreal residents here.

Next week I’ll be flying into Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Dorval. My hotel is located in downtown Montréal, near the Centre Bell.

What form of transportation should I use to get from Montréal-Trudeau to the Centre Bell?

Does the airport have a shuttle or light rail service? If not- How much (in CAD) is a taxi?

What do you guys think I should do?

Best answer:

Answer by Ray
You can take STM bus route 204 or 209 to the Dorval train station, then either the commuter train to Lucien L’Allier station, or route 211 to Lionel-Groulx métro station and métro line 2 to Lucien L’Allier.

There is also a bus that runs between the airport and the main bus terminal (near Berri-UQAM – take métro line 2 to Lucien L’Allier).

After seeing the great pictures from some of my contacts, I decided to go to the International Flora Montréal 2006 art exposition, in the Old Port of Montreal, for a very nice visit (and many pictures, of course).
