Question by asianpaperboy: How to get cheap shuttle from toronto to niagara falls without casino member card?
How to get cheap shuttle from toronto to niagara falls without casino member card?
There’s a tour company offering rides from Toronto->Niagara Falls for $ 25 if you don’t have a casino membership card, $ 0 if you do. Problem is, to get the free membership card, you have to be at the casino. So how do I first get there to get the membership card to get the discount for getting there?

Is there another tour company that offers very low cost or free shuttle service from Toronto to Niagara Falls?

Best answer:

Answer by Ray
Not much cheaper, but on weekends and holidays you can take the GO train for $ 15.90 each way, then buy a ticket for the Falls Shuttle ($ 6). Go to the Players Advantage Club booth at Fallsview Casino and show them your Falls Shuttle ticket and GO train ticket to get the $ 6 back. You can pick up a membership card while you’re there.

How is life in Canada different from the United States?

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 | Canada with 3 Comments

Question by average joe: How is life in Canada different from the United States?
I’d like to know if there are any differneces in the lifestyle of Canada as opposed to the US. Here in the US people always seem to be stressed out about work and finances. Of course there is always that stigma that Americans are rude. However, I’ve heard that people in Canada are much nicer.

So I’m wondering if the quality of life in Canada is different, or is it just basically the same?

Best answer:

Answer by Elan Undercover
We’re worried too about our finances here in Canada.
We’re more quiet here in Canada then people in the States.
We have free health care, a prime minister instead of a president
I can’t really say much else because I’ve never lived in the States, so I don’t know how their lifestyle is on a daily basis.

What transportation is available to get from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to downtown Montreal?

Thursday, December 30th, 2010 | Montreal with 2 Comments

Question by Ken: What transportation is available to get from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to downtown Montreal?
I need some advice from any Montreal residents here.

Next week I’ll be flying into Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Dorval. My hotel is located in downtown Montréal, near the Centre Bell.

What form of transportation should I use to get from Montréal-Trudeau to the Centre Bell?

Does the airport have a shuttle or light rail service? If not- How much (in CAD) is a taxi?

What do you guys think I should do?

Best answer:

Answer by Ray
You can take STM bus route 204 or 209 to the Dorval train station, then either the commuter train to Lucien L’Allier station, or route 211 to Lionel-Groulx métro station and métro line 2 to Lucien L’Allier.

There is also a bus that runs between the airport and the main bus terminal (near Berri-UQAM – take métro line 2 to Lucien L’Allier).
