Calgary is an oil capital and commercial center, with a rapidly growing population of young professionals attracted by the vibrant economic environment. It takes just a little over an hour to drive to the Rocky Mountain resorts in Banff National Park. Calgary has grown around the intersection of the Bow and Elbow rivers, and the city is divided into a four-quadrant grid, with the Bow River separating North from South, and Centre Street-Macleod Trail.

I love 70′s Architecture and Design. A lot of people think it’s ugly, and I used to as well, but now I find its style very appealing and super-original. A lot of people in Calgary think this overpass is ugly, and an eyesore, I wanted to capture the beauty I see in it.

Kirkman says that’s akin to a kidnapper suing for the cost of taking care of the victim, plus the ransom they never got. Noah was 10 years old when he was seized in 2008 during …

Calgary Stampede Expansion Good For Economy

Municipal and provincial politicians say the expansion of the Calgary Stampede will be a boom for the local and the provincial economy.
Groundbreaking for the first phase of the Stampede’s much-anticipated expansion was celebrated Wednesday.

Alberta Gaming Minister Gordon Graydon says the $35 million the province is contributing to the expansion of the roundup centre is money well spent.
Mayor Dave Bronconnier says the expansion will help in the re-vitalization of the eastside of downtown.
