This is what the place looked like from the sky back in 1977. The intersection it question is sort of at the middle of the image… though, in a way, it doesn’t exist yet in this shot. The line running up the middle of the image was called, at the time, Indian Line Road, and it also served as the border been the City of Mississauga in Peel Region on the left, and the City of Etobicoke in Metropolitan Toronto on the right. Oddly enough, it’s Malton there in Mississauga that’s all built up, not the Rexdale side in Metro, which was still farmland.
