The Calgary Stampede Wednesday unveiled a new logo and brand.
It’s the C with a lazy S under it, similar to a livestock brand. Also, will be known only as the 
Calgary Stampede, not Exhibition and Stampede.
Stampede CEO Vern Kimball says “the reason is to create a single, consistent image”.
Right now, are a dozen or so names and logos out there, and there’s a fear it’s being diluted. To show it’s a year-round venue, not just for 10 days in July. Read the rest of this entry »
